We went to the hawker center at the Teluk Cempedak to sit down and have a drink. Jackson recommend us for this shop is a must try for the dessert.
I choose for the Jelly Ice special.This one very nice~~~Even after Mrs Ong saw i so satisfied with this Jelly ice special, she reorder again for this Jelly Ice special because can't stand the temptation from it.
My boyfriend and Mrs Ong choose for Honey Dew special.
So nice the sky at Teluk Cempedak.So relax sitting here and chatting with friends...no pressure~
Then, Jackson recommned us to try for the seafood at Kuantan. He brought us to this Sri Mahkota seafood restaurant.
Many newspaper promote about this restaurant before. Jackson also mention this is one of the famous restaurant in Kuantan.
We order for this fried vegetables.The vegetables too old, hard to chew~~
Fried golden taufu. Taste normal. ALthough it is fried, when we the dish served to us, it is totally cold and not crispy at all.Disappointed with this dish lo~~
This salty egg fried crab is the best among all the dish. The salty egg smell was so heavy and nice. We all so impressed by this dish.
This is the Mongolian styled fried prawn. We all felt that the balck pepper taste over heavy and cover the freshness of the prawn meat. We can only taste out the black pepper smell but nothing else.
This is the dish that make us angry and disappointed. The boss in the restaurant recommend for this steam Asam fish with Thai styled so we choose it and we also ask the boss to recommend for us the fish that can cook for this dish. He recommend us the ikan siakap. When the fish served, we taste it and found out the fish was so smelly,. It was full with the smell of soil and fishy. The fish meat's smell induce to the asam soup was taste weird and just like the water in the drain.
We saw the boss and we raise our hand to complain to the boss but the boss refuse to come over and ask one of the waitress to come over us. We told them this issue but the waitress keep on say" NO!our fish is very fresh. No problem for our fish.Absolutely no problem for this fish!!!" We are so angry and think why the boss cannot accept any criticize from the customer. Actually we also want to mention to the boss this salty egg crab was very nice but the fish is terrible but he refuse to accept any suggestions and criticizes.
We also order for the coconut pudding and the boss mention this is the pudding made by themselves.
Actually this pudding was quite nice and smooth. recommend to try for this coconut pudding~~
When we want to pay for the bill, we were actually shocked by the receipt there show to us. Just a messy paper they wrote to us.
This was the recycled paper was actually use by the child to do homework but they use this paper as receipt for customer.LOL~~~
Then, we were so shocked by the figure too and we check one by one item through the receipt. the original price is RM177 then we check each of the dish price and found out actually they not honest and over calculated.Finally they correct the amount for us is RM161 but for our impression its was totally a bad impression for us to this restaurant lo!!!!
Then we turn back to Sungai Lembing and reach around 9.00pm. We thought we can bought the roasted pork because we read through the Ah Xian's blog and they mention the roasted pork start to sell at 9pm. When we reach there, the stall mention already sold out. They also mention they already start to sell the roasted pork ealier become every Saturday 7pm and not 9pm. They ask us to buy at the pork stall Sunday morning in the market.
So, nothing can do, we just went back to hotel and rest.
